About Us
Foundation Stabilization, Inc. (FSI) distributes and applies EcSS 3000 a soil stabilizer that improves the physical and mechanical characteristics of clay soils for building pads and roadways.
FSI applies EcSS 3000 via either a soil injection process or with a water pull. The result is a significant reduction in the swell/shrink potential of the clay soil.
Since 2003, EcSS 3000 has been used to treat millions of square feet of building pads, parking lots, swimming pools, sidewalks, roadways, and airport pavement. In addition, hundreds of miles of county and federal (U.S. Forest Service) roadway subgrades have been treated with EcSS 3000.
Management:
William R. Sublette, Ph.D., P.E. - President
Dr. Sublette is a fifth generation native Californian and has been a professional engineer for approximately 30 years in the states of Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico. Dr. Sublette's expertise is in the area of Geotechnical Engineering and Civil Engineering. His work has ranged from geotechnical investigation and design to remediation design of distressed structures. After being introduced to EcSS 3000 technology and applying it to swelling clay conditions, Dr. Sublette has concluded that the application of the EcSS 3000 injection technology in swelling clay soils provides a viable method for the reduction of a clay's swell potential and the stabilization of building foundations or roads overlying swelling clays. Using his background in construction and engineering, Dr. Sublette formed Foundation Stabilization, Inc. to address swelling clay problem soils beneath building foundations and roads. |
